Kathryn graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008 located in Victoria, BC. After graduation Kathryn worked a locum position at North Saanich Massage Therapy in Sydney, BC. North Saanich Massage had a prenatal oriented clientele but still had a wide variety of clients giving her great experience with a wide variety of pathologies. Once completed she moved with her fiance to Vernon, BC and started her own practice at the Aberdeen Wellness Clinic. Aberdeen Wellness is family clinic that sees people of all ages and different fitness levels. Many athletes seek out Kathryn’s practice because of her own athletic life style and her fast growing experience with athletes.
Kathryn is a avid runner but also loves to ski, bike, and hike. She is currently training to do a full marathon for next year. She will be doing it with her mom to celebrate her mom’s 60th birthday.
Kathryn draws from her past training and current research to make each treatment as personal and effective as possible for the patient. Kathryn has a strong yet sensitive touch. She is proficient in many techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle energy, and myofascial release.
She loves her work. Her enthusiasm and experience are put into every treatment and she looks forward to treating a variety of clientele at Ocean Wellness.
