Jackie is a graduate of Utopia Academy (VCMT) 3000 hr Massage Therapy program and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. Health and body wellness has always been a personal and professional priority for her as she has been heavily involved in health and fitness over the past 15 years working as a Fitness instructor. She maintains a very active lifestyle snowboarding, rollerblading and hiking and yoga and knows 1st hand the importance of maintaining balance in your body to prevent muscle imbalance and injury both from physical demand and work related stress.
She has always had a keen interested in human anatomy and physiology and knew her work would involve healing and strengthening of the body. She is committed to enhancing the health and wellness to facilitate a pain free lifestyle for her patients so they are able to continue what they love to do.
Jackie welcomes all varieties of clientele and enjoys treating all Orthopedic conditions. Giving back and working in the community is very important to Jackie and she feels blessed to work at several fundraiser events, transition/recovery homes, elderly live in facilities and recreation facilities for special needs.
Jackie looks forward to always be learning and providing her clients with a mindful, holistic approach to treatments. As part of being well balanced and including the treatment outside the clinic, she incorporates therapeutic exercise and hydrotherapy home care for her clients.
